Yes, it is indeed ugly. Exactly as ugly as all the other crappy (wannabe retro) mostly plastic barfbag cars that are out there since 2000...

Fiat 500
new Mini (more a BMW 0 series)
all the american musclecars (including mustangs, camaros,... corvettes since c5)
bmw 507 (google it)
.
.
.

If car factories really have to melt 2,5 tons of plastic, they should at least make it look good in ANY way.

You know you bore me to death with your stupid discussions in a f***ing PICTURE THREAD!

This is the only place in the forum I visit regularly. So every time I see there are unread posts in here I click and enter, just to find out you're having stupid and pointless discussions about Dale Earnhards left leg being sold on ebay or whatever.

Can't you just put a picture in each of your posts please? Or can some mod just delete ALL posts without a picture in them?

Quote from MAGGOT :Also, there is a huge difference between old group c cars and current LMP cars.

Indeed, old Group C cars were crazy, brutal aluminium boxes with all different engines from 2,7 to 7 litres. Those beasts were so hard to handle they needed proper heroes to pilot them around.
Todays prototypes still look tough, but with all the new gadgets they don't give you that sense of wow anymore.

+1 for virtuaLM to bring some noise to lfs!

are your steering input options still on keyboard/mouse?

pedals set to independant gas/brake?

went to axis/ffb and clicked the axis you wanted to assign?

You don't need to assign a certain amount of degrees in the driver as long as you don't set the sensitivity on the wheel to "off", at least not in lfs. for rbr you have to though.

for me the set works absolutely fine from the beginning...

hope I could help

a) almost all of you have never met him, so you know jack about what an absolutely nice chap he can be (same goes for unfunny arox btw)

b) have you had acid for breakfast? Or are you all just desperately sitting in front of your computers since early 2009, getting more bitter and frustrated each day?

Quote from ColeusRattus :I think it's great actually. Why should racing games which have a creative setting always be limited to arcade physics?

There isn't one creative thought in the set of this game. Since Mad Max (movies like this were made even earlier, but MM is THE post-apocalyptic movie including cars) games like death rally, interstate 76 and 82, carmageddon, twisted metal, supercars, motorstorm apocalypse, death track, HT apocalypse, n.i.c.e, and so on offer the same stuff basically, with more or less intelligent tweaks. princess-monster-rescue-stuff almost all jump and run games base upon bore me to death, as so apocalyptic racer titles...
On the other hand I can remember playing twisted metal (ps1) with a friend on his 37cm bulbous screen monitor in split screen mode for hours.

For god's sake Tor, take a plane, get over to beautiful bavaria and have a few nice days! If the patch would be out while you're here I've even got a properly fantastic wheel for you!
You could as well visit Katja, Ole and me in early April, we could visit a proper Rally pack with Porsches, Beemers, old Opels and Volvos!

I think you guys tried to argue, one about tomatoes, the other about cars, and to some degree both of you are right :-). There are many kinds of trails you can ride with different bikes, and nowadays for every produced frame that has a difference of 0,1° in slope angles of the upper tube you get a new name for it. A crossbike is basically a bigger mountainbike (28') with slim tyres, a speedbike is the same frame, maybe not as nobbly tyres and with race bike gears instead of mtb crank and stuff, a cyclocross bike is in between them plus drop handle................... oh how I hate that!

If you really like to go fast get a superlight aluminium or steel frame, if you have money get a titanium one (titanium and aluminium alloy that is, called... titanal over here!!!!!), get lightweight rims and build a single speed bike. I admit these are mostly used by fashion faschists and apple users , but in the Netherhollandslands tey are THE weapon of choice. No loss in the transmission, easy to accelerate and great topspeed performance!
An internal 4 (3, 5,7,8,11,14-) gear hub is stupid and kills power.

or that, yes, to a certain degree. IMO There are 30-40% which indeed need their licenses taken away immediately. The rest makes mistakes now and then, which is no problem most of the time as long as those drivers hit a tree or a car. When they hit a biker things get worse. And when these bikers again are numpties as well (about 70% are just overestimating their skills by a huge amount) you can guess who gets killed first.

PS: those numbers I stated are my own assumptions, they depend on country, area (I live near some beautiful mountain pass that are stormed by bikers from march to october) and other factors.

I do have quite a bit of experience seeing and teaching every age, gender and social status of people to drive carefully and economically.
And having seen tens of thousands of different people drive I dare saying I have a much wider view on who drives dangerous and careless than you.

Assuming that at a certain age people should have taken their licenses away is pure bulls***t. Most of them are quite careful and don't overestimate their skills. The youth however......... reaction times of a dead sea cow, putting their lives at risk for nothing and so forth.

Don't lump all the old people together, in just a few years you might get your licenses taken awayfor nothing because of things YOU have started!
